Can you use the law of attraction to improve your leadership skills?

I have written a number of blogs in the past on the law of attraction and how to apply it to your own life. However, did you know that the law of attraction can help you to become a great leader?

Imagine yourself to be a magnet. You will attract the things you are focusing on. Simply put, if you harness a negative mind set, then you will attract negativity in your life. Likewise, if you have a positive mind set, you will be much more successful. This means that the law of attraction will not give you a good outcome when used incorrectly. You have to manifest positivity in order for you to be successful.

When you are in a negative headspace, you will find yourself stuck under a cloud. You won’t look for ways to improve because you don’t see a reason. When you are positive, you will find ways to achieve your goals.

In a leadership role, it is in your power to increase the success of your business. When you apply the law of attraction to your role, you’ll find every aspect of the business improve; happier staff, reliable customers and stronger processes. Take the word “will” out of your vocabulary and replace it with the word “am”. The law of attraction requires you to be firm in your thoughts. You don’t want to be a good leader; you are one.

The first thing you need to do is set a goal for the company. What are you working towards? Finding your purpose as a business is important for many reasons, but especially so when trying to harness the law of attraction. Specific goals are more effective – aiming for bigger profits is too vague to incite change, but aiming for a 10% increase on last year is much more manageable.

You will attract like-minded people to you. If you are a hard worker, then your staff will be more inclined to work hard. Therefore, it is important that you remember the law of attraction when looking for staff; would you like your staff to act the way you do? For example, when you find yourself stressed, do you deal with the problems logically? Or push them away? You need to tackle your challenges the way you would expect your staff to.

The law of attraction isn’t just about manifesting positive thoughts; it’s about the actions that follow. It’s not a magic wand that allows you to think things into reality but a shift in mind set that will allow you to reach your goals. Your positive thoughts haven’t caused the positive outcomes; the hard work you put in based on your positive thoughts have. It involves work – you get out of life what you give to it. Harness positive thoughts and success will follow.
